Rihanna has overthrown Lady Gaga for the title of “Queen of YouTube“. She has obtained a total of 2,033,848,822 video views, which is over 2 million more than the former leader’s total and growing exponentially. This comes on the heels of Rihanna’s recent crowning of “Queen of Facebook” late last year, where coincidentally she also replaced Gaga. Rihanna is also the “Queen of Digital Downloads“.
So what do these titles really mean? Well, Facebook is the most popular social networking site in the world, therefore Rihanna is the most popular female on the most popular social networking site in the world. YouTube has become the primary source people view their music videos from today, therefore, Rihanna is presently the most popular female video artist.
Rihanna also made Queen of Pop.

After a two-week respite, Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, returns to the Billboard Hot 100 summit (2-1) for a ninth total week in charge.
The song, which already represents Rihanna’s longest residence at No. 1 on the Hot 100, matches Ke$ha’s “TiK ToK” in early 2010 for the longest time tallied atop the Hot 100 for any song since the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” racked 14 weeks on top in summer 2009.
On Radio Songs, “We Found Love” rules for an eighth week (152 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS), granting Rihanna her longest reign on the list as a lead act, besting the seven-week domination of her “What’s My Name?,” featuring Drake, early last year. She also ties her longest stranglehold atop the chart overall, having spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Radio Songs as a guest on T.I.’s “Live Your Life” in 2008-09 and Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” in 2010.

"We Found Love" ten weeks on Hot100"
Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris, remains atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a milestone 10th total week at the summit. It also remains atop the Pop and Radio charts.
The song, which already represents Rihanna’s longest stay at No. 1 on the Hot 100, becomes one of just 11 boasting a solo female lead billing to have ruled for at least 10 weeks in the tally’s 53-year history. “We Found Love” is the first such leader since Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” logged 10 weeks on top in 2006-07.
Here is the complete list of songs by women to achieve strangleholds of at least 10 frames on the Hot 100 (including two tracks in which other acts share lead credit and one in which two women trade lead vocals):
Weeks at No. 1, Title, Artist, Peak Year
16, “One Sweet Day,” Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men, 1995 (*the longest reign of any title in the chart’s history)
14, “We Belong Together,” Mariah Carey, 2005
14, “I Will Always Love You,” Whitney Houston, 1992

BRIT Awards 2012: Rihanna wins International Female Solo Artist
Rihanna scooped the gong for International Female Solo Artist at tonight’s BRIT Awards in London.
The Barbados-born beauty, who looked striking dressed in a plunging bejewelled bronze gown, ran up on stage to collect the gong off Jenson Button.
Accepting the honour, she thanked her record label as well as her fans, saying: “Thanks to all my fans who continue to support me no matter what - I love you, this is for you. And at times when I feel misunderstood my fans always remind me that it’s OK to be myself and I will never forget you for that, so thank you.”
It’s the second year in a row the star has won the title, also picking it up in 2011.
Tonight Rihanna had been up against extremely stiff competition, with Beyonce, Bjork, Feist and Lady Gaga all in the running for the coveted title of International Female Solo Artist.
But the R&B star – who has had hits with songs such as Rehab and Only Girl in the World – managed to hold her own to lift the title; no doubt a nice Brithday pressie for Rihanna, who turned 24 yesterday.
The star’s music has won her numerous awards and accolades in the past, including several Grammys and American Music Awards.

Rihanna has sold over 15 million records in the UK, figures have revealed. The singer reached the impressive milestone this month, after shifting five million units of albums Loud and Talk That Talk in the last 12 months. Boom!
“Selling 15 million records in the UK is a remarkable achievement,” Mercury Music Group president Jason Iley told Music Week magazine. “Rihanna’s only 24 and I have no doubt she’ll sell another 15 million records in the near future. It’s not about speed, it’s about longevity, and Rihanna has a long career ahead of her.”
Rihanna released her debut album Music of the Sun in the UK seven years ago, and five of her six subsequent records have achieved multi-platinum status. The star is credited as the only female artist to have had a number one single in five consecutive years in the UK, and to date has totalled six chart-topping singles and three number one albums.

Rihanna makes it 21 top tens in UK.
This week Rihanna’s latest single “Where Have You Been” made a jump from #21 to #8 on the British charts entering the UK’s TOP 10 for the 21st time! Rihanna has 17 solo songs that entered the top ten charts and 5 collaborations. We’re hoping it’s just the beginning for this amazing song that so far has been on charts for only 6 weeks!
(May 15th, 2012)
Where Have You Been” becomes Rihanna’s 26th top 10 Billboard Digital Song
As Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been” approaches the Hot 100′s top 10, pushing 13-11, the song makes notable moves on two other charts. The track bumps 13-8 on Digital Songs to become Rihanna’s 26th top 10 on the listing. With the advance, she passes Lil Wayne (25) for the most top 10s since Digital Songs began contributing to the Hot 100 the week of Feb. 12, 2005. As we previously reported, “Where Have You Been Been” concurrently crowns Dance/Club Play Songs to become Rihanna’s whopping 18th No. 1. She ties Beyonce for the chart’s third-most toppers after Madonna (42) and Janet Jackson (19).

20 Million record Sales in UK!
Not content with headlining Radio 1‘s Hackney Weekend – the BBC‘s biggest ever outdoor music concert – Rihanna can now add the mammoth feat of 20 million record sales to her list of career achievements here in the UK!
RiRi has now sold a staggering combined total of 20 million singles and albums on UK turf, according to the latest Official Charts Company‘s sales data.
It has been just under seven years since her debut UK hit, Pon De Replay, reached Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart; since then, the 24-year-old singer has sold over 14 million singles and over six million albums in the United Kingdom.
Rihanna has not only had phenomenal success with her solo material, but is also famed for her prolific collaborations with artists such as Drake, Kanye West and fellow Hackney Weekend headliner Jay-Z.
The Bajan superstar’s biggest UK hit single to date is 2011′s We Found Love FT Calvin Harris, which has now sold over 1.14 million copies. In fact, We Found Love is one of THREE different singles on which Rihanna features that have smashed the hallowed 1 million sales milestone (the other two being 2010′s Love The Way You Lie, appearing with Eminem, and Only Girl (In The World)).
Rihanna cemented her place in the Official Charts history books in November last year by becoming the only female artist ever to achieve the Official Singles and Official Albums Chart double TWICE in the same year with different singles and albums. The albums that helped her pull off this feat – 2010′s Loud and her most recent collection Talk That Talk, both hit the Number 1 spot in 2011 and went on to sell 1.8m and 850,000 copies, respectively. Though it is 2007′s Good Girl Gone Bad that takes the title of her biggest selling album in the UK, having racked up a cool 1.85m sales on these shores to date.
The Official Charts Company‘s Managing Director, Martin Talbot says: “Rihanna‘s record, in selling more than 20 million singles and albums in the space of seven years, is truly staggering. There certainly must have been something in the water when she – and Adele three months later – was born in Spring 1988!”
And if all that’s not enough of a CV for somebody who is still only 24 YEARS OLD, Rihanna is also the only female artist in the history of the Official Charts to have featured on five Number 1 singles in five consecutive years (2007′s Umbrella, 2008′s Take A Bow, 2009′s Run This Town, 2010′s Only Girl In The World, and 2011′s We Found Love), and is the 10th bigest selling artists in the 60-year history of the Official Singles Chart.

Rihanna’s latest fragrance has become the fastest-selling celebrity perfume in the UK. “Rebelle” has sold over 2 million bottles since its February launch and is expected to sell a record-breaking 4 million by the end of the year.
“My new fragrance is about taking control but still being a lady. There’s a feminine, romantic element to the fragrance – but there’s also a defiant quality in it. I love its duality,” Rihanna said at its launch.
“Rebelle” is the second perfume released by Rihanna following last year’s “Reb’l Fleur”.
Rihanna will release “Nude“, her third fragrance, in November.
While you’re waiting for “Nude”, Rihanna’s fragrances “Reb’l Fleur” and “Rebelle” are available at Macy’s, Macys.com, Bon Ton, Belk & Dillards in the US. If you live in Europe, you will find them at Perfume Shoppe, Boots, & Douglas.

Rihanna Enters 2013 Guinness Book Of World Records
It may be hard to believe, but next year marks the 8th anniversary of Rihanna‘s arrival to Pop music.
No longer the Island Pop Princess we came to know her as in 2005, the singer/producer has gone onto become one of her genre’s more powerful forces, going toe to toe with acts she once considered influences.
Now find out why she’s being celebrated by the 2013 Guinness Book Of World Records, below…
With 47.57 million digital tracks sold in the US, she is now the highest selling digital act in the country, kicking dust in the faces of efforts made by the revolutionary Lady GaGa and Pop icon Beyonce.
Indeed, despite the fact she has never enjoyed a US #1 album, the ‘Styled To Rock’ producer’s singles have oft compensated for this loss, with smash hits like ‘We Found Love’ and ‘Umbrella’ making her the only artist in UK chart history to enjoy #1 singles in every year between 2007 and 2011.
